Clive Barber is an accomplished golf photographer internationally recognized for consistently capturing the splendor and character of a golf course. His attention to detail and commitment to producing a quality product is apparent in his craft.
Clive's golf photography work has taken him across Canada, USA, the UK and Ireland photographing some of the world's best golf destinations for a variety of clients including golf clubs, golf architects, golf magazines, book publishers, advertising agencies etc.
Beginning his professional photography career in the mid 1980's Clive primarily specialized as a large-format, studio-advertising photographer producing images for national advertising campaigns, packaging and corporate needs. A few of his clients at the time were: Molson Breweries, Labatt's Canada, Canada Dry, Air Canada, Covergirl, Cadbury Schweppes, London Life, Spar Aerospace etc.
Whilst continuing with his studio advertising work into the 1990's Clive began to expand more into location projects and particular industrial photography. Whether it was photographing residential or commercial interior and exteriors, photographing large machinery, production assembly line shots for such clients as, Magna International Inc., Clive found himself traveling around North America and into England.
In 1995 Clive was recommended by an international advertising agency to photograph The Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville ON Canada. Shortly afterwards Clive began to move away from his advertising/industrial work and specialize on golf course photography.
