The Royal Ashburn Golf Club

Situated a few miles east of Toronto and just north of the town of Whitby lies The Royal Ashburn Golf Club. During the summer of 2007 I had the privilege to photograph around the course.

The course is owned and operated by the Paterson family. In 1959 Wilson Paterson along with Bill Ogle, both golf professionals, purchased the land the golf course now rests on and designed and constructed the course. The Royal Ashburn Golf Club is home to the Canadian Tour Fall Qualifying School.

As well as being one of the most challenging courses in the Toronto area, The Royal Ashburn Golf Club has a warm, friendly ambiance about it. Every visit was always a pleasurable one.
